Slough Change Maker Awards

This award is to celebrate Slough’s newest businesses.
 

The judges are looking for businesses that have gained market traction and set a benchmark for innovation and entrepreneurial excellence. They would also like to know how the business has or will impact society.

The nominee must have been trading for a maximum of two years.

This award recognises individuals or teams that have shown creativity, innovation, and efficacy in developing products that have, or will positively impact their communities and industries.  

The judges are looking for makers who have built great products and done so ethically and sustainably.

The Community Hero award celebrates an individual or group whose commitment to Slough has significantly contributed to the community. It is for those directly involved in grassroots action, whose passion and support have meaningfully bolstered the town.  

This a community-centric award, and the winner will be decided by a public vote during the awards ceremony.

This is for the businesses that has made significant and sustainable growth in their sector. The business may have overcome obstacles and adjusted, identified a need in your market, or developed a new product that rocketed your business to another level. 

The judges are looking for businesses that have adapted, developed and contributed to the community.

Tell us about those extraordinary people who have gone above and beyond to achieve something outstanding in their work within the past twelve months. They could be a team member, colleague, or friend; we want to hear about Slough's remarkable individuals. 

This is open to anyone in Slough, and we would like to hear about how the nominee has gone the extra mile to succeed.

This award celebrates organisations or businesses that have positively impacted society through social, sustainability, or community initiatives. The award is open to everyone, including charities, and community organisations.  

The judges want to hear about the business or organisation's activities and how they have positively impacted the community.

This award celebrates Slough's business or charity leaders — those whose leadership has taken organisations to new heights and demonstrates extraordinary skill and expertise. 

The winner will be a pioneer who has made an outstanding contribution to a business by leading teams, creating job opportunities and inspiring others.

Nominations will be considered by a judging panel of local business leaders and Slough community members.
